Vikki Zimmer Memorial Scholarship
The Vikki Zimmer Memorial Scholarship was set up in honor of Defensive Coordinator, Mike Zimmer's late wife who passed away suddenly in October of 2009. The criteria for this scholarship is the same as the Marvin Lewis Scholarship. The Zimmer's were kind enough to suggest donating money to the MLCF in lieu of flowers for Vikki's funeral. We are grateful to use the money raised to honor a derserving student athlete with a $20,000 scholarship.
Tyler DeLaet was the 2010 Vikki Zimmer Scholarship recipient. Tyler is a graduate of LaSalle High School and will attend the University of Cincinnati and major in Bio Medical Engineering. |
